Specialized Patient Support Programs at Sky Ridge
“Care Calls” in the Emergency Department
We are looking for caring, phone savvy individuals who would like to make “Care Calls” to patients who have recently visited the Emergency Department (ED) at Sky Ridge. Our goal is to establish whether patients received “Beyond Your Expectations” service and determine if there are any areas for improvement. This volunteer will work directly with the ED nurses and physicians and will be located in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background preferably with phone-related work. To learn more about this great opportunity please contact John Penn at 720-225-1998 or via email at John.Penn@HealthONEcares.com.

Healing Hearts Program
Bill Gray, an open-heart surgery survivor, helped create our "Healing Hearts" program.
We are proud to offer this volunteer-run, open heart-support program called, "Healing Hearts." Ideally, you would be an open heart survivor, or a family member who has cared for a loved one during this experience. Our Healing Hearts Volunteers support patients before and after their procedure, and comfort family and loved ones. Volunteers are needed on an “on-call” basis and possess strong communication skills. Please call John Penn at 720-225-1998 to arrange an interview.
Become a Serenity Tea Volunteer
The goal of our Serenity Tea Program is to enhance the patient experience by direct, positive interaction with caring volunteers.
