Celebrating Sky Ridge Volunteers

On a snowy November 20, we gathered on the "industrial chic" 3rd floor of Sky Ridge Medical Center to recognize a very special group of people - OUR VOLUNTEERS. After eating a tasty brunch, the group settled in with a hot cup of coffee, for John Penn's great presentation on this very successful program. He kicked off the recognition with a commemorative piece of art that was created in honor of our Inaugural volunteer team. It now hangs in the volunteer office.

John highlighted key accomplishments and recognized the significant contribution of time, talent and energy that the volunteers give to Sky Ridge each and every day. The program culminated with Maureen Tarrant, CEO, presenting four key volunteers with pins acknowledging each of their 500 hours of service. After a heartfelt thanks, Maureen shared that she personally chose this line of work because of her first volunteer experience.
