Volunteer Spotlight: Colleen Acuna and Sue Heinz

Sky Ridge would like to send a warm "Thank You" to Colleen Acuna and Sue Heinz, our two most tenured volunteers in our program.

Before our doors opened to the public on August 20, 2003, Colleen and Sue were already busy familiarizing themselves with the who, what, where, when, why, and how of Sky Ridge.

Colleen is our solid backbone at the information desk where she spends the majority of her time. When asked why she volunteers her quick reply was "I am a caregiver at heart. I enjoy it. It's also a new experience from all the school volunteering." Thanks Colleen!

Sue also spends most of her time at the information desk. When not at Colleen's side on Wednesday mornings you can find Sue busy in the surgery waiting area, medical staff office, administration or various other areas. Sue says, "I am a people person and it's payback time!" Sue, thank you!
