Sky Ridge hospital is one of only a few in the state using the da Vinci system for robot-assisted procedures on women. Our specially trained robotic surgeons perform the following minimally invasive procedures:

  • Hysterectomy
    • Removal of the uterus or womb to treat cancer, uterine fibroids, endometriosis and other women's health conditions
  • Sacrocolpopexy
    • Procedure to insert a piece of mesh to hold the vagina and uterus in place; treatment for vaginal prolapse and uterine prolapse
    • Can be performed directly following a robotic hysterectomy; saving time and eliminating the risks associated with two surgeries
  • Myomectomy
    • Removal of uterine fibroids
